The National Center for Cybersecurity (NCSC) has published last year's second semi-annual report on "Information Assurance - Situation in Switzerland and Internationally".
The report concludes that SMEs in particular are increasingly being targeted by cybercriminals. In addition to technical measures, they should also train their employees to reduce the risk of a successful attack. They write:
“Cybersecurity is not a state to be achieved. Rather, it is a process requiring ongoing care and attention and consisting of technical, organisational and HR measures. Employee training is a key part of this.”
The report covers topics such as what SMBs should look for in cybersecurity. It includes two guest contributions from companies that have experienced cyber attacks. The report also covers reports received by the NCSC and highlights the current state of the cyber landscape.
